This beach is 390 meters long and 60 meters wide. Its sand is golden like in some other beaches on the island and not of volcanic origin. It is connected to eight renowned beaches of Tenerife through a coastal boardwalk. It is easy to access on foot, by car or public transport.

How to reach Playa del Duque from the airport

Playa del Duque is only 20 km far from the airport of Tenerife South. It will take you no more than twenty minutes to reach it by car or taxi. If you travel by public transport, you can take the bus (line 111) which will lead you to your destination in about 40 minutes. The shuttle service takes 20 minutes. In short, connections are excellent!

You can also visit Arona, which is divided into 4 areas: Playa de las Americas, Playa de Los Cristianos, Playa de las Galletas-Costa del Silencio,and Arona Rural. The first three are marine touristic localities with their own unique and different flavours, whereas Arona Rural is located in a more internal area and keeps an interesting and charming historical centre.
