TENERIFE SUR WEBCAM
Tenerife’s tourist expansion started in the 1960s, making the island the most populous and cosmopolitan in Spain. The southern area is still the best equipped and best organized for tourist activities.
PUERTO DE LA CRUZ WEBCAM

Las Vistas in one of the “white sand beaches” of Tenerife. It is an artificial site made with golden sand transported from other localities to contrast with the natural black volcanic sand.
The beach of Las Vistas is one of the most beautiful artificial beaches, as it is perfectly equipped to satisfy any requirements and is flanked by a long urban road which connects it to other beautiful beaches.
Breakwater barriers prevent high waves from striking the area, so it is perfect for families looking for peace and tranquillity. It is located in Los Cristianos, which belongs to the municipality of Arona, one of the most developed tourist localities in the southern part of Tenerife.
EL MÉDANO WEBCAM

El Médano is situated in the municipality of Grandilla de Abona, in the South of the island, where trade winds are constant and offer the ideal conditions to live the best surf and kitesurf experience.
El Médano is ideal for surf lovers as a number of international competitions are held all year round, like the Windsurfing and Kiteboarding World Cup.

About 70 km far from Santa Cruz de Tenerife is Playa de las Américas. Located in the municipality of Arona and built in the 1960s, it has become a very well-equipped tourist area and the ideal destination for young visitors. In the resort area you can find a number of cafés, discos, restaurants and pubs: if you really want to experience the “movida” (the local nightlife), this is the place to be.
You will appreciate the golden sand from the Sahara Desert, which produces gorgeous light effects to the crystal-clear water. You can also practise a lot of different sports and water activities.

TEIDE WEBCAM

If you are looking for a different type of experience during your stay in Tenerife, you can spend a day visiting the giant guardian of the island: Mount Teide.
Mount Teide is one of the highest volcanoes in the world and the highest peak of Spain (3717 meters). It is part of Teide National Park, which is the most visited park in Europe and the second most visited in the world.
In 2007 both the volcano and the park were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The unique, luxuriant flora is replaced by a lunar landscape as you get closer to the crater. To enjoy a wonderful view, you can reach the top of the volcano on foot or by different means of transport (you can easily rent a vehicle on the island).
SUR AIRPORT WEBCAM

Tenerife Sur Airport is officially entitled to Queen Sophia of Greece and is located near El Médano and Los Abrigos, in the southern part of the island. It is second biggest international airport of the Canary Islands as 40 different companies operate from it. Connections to and from the airport are excellent and all the services you might need are available on site.
